Fir-Conway Lutheran Church has a long history of making quilts for members and charities (both local and worldwide).

Our Ladies Aid was started in 1894, and one of the first undertakings was to make a name quilt.  Anyone paying 10 cents got his or her name on the quilt.  All of the names were sewn, and the ladies did the quilting.  Instead of selling the quilt. a collection was taken, netting $35, and the quilt was given to the pastor's wife, Mrs. Foss.

Today, our sewing ministry has its sights on making quilts for Lutheran World Relief and hospice care items for local organizations such as Hospice of the Northwest.  We welcome all donations- monetary and fabric-based- as every little bit helps.   Any monetary donation will be used to procure batting, supplies, and fabric.

*When donating fabrics, please no fleece, mattress pads, or anything stained or torn.
